ACE HOTEL LAUNCHES NEW COCKTAIL MENU IN THE LOBBY BAR
Ace Hotel Shoreditch is excited to announce the launch of their new cocktail menu in the popular Lobby Bar this June.
Bars Manager Chris Green has led recipe development for “Volume III” in this bi-annual series, utilising techniques such as fat-washing and distilling, creating many house-made cordials and infusions, whilst also adhering to the movement of ‘No/ Low’ drinks.
Many of the new drinks have been fat-washed, the process of imparting flavours into spirits, with the fat from those items skimmed out. A cocktail benefitting from this process is the Bangers and Daq’s, which has had layers of salami fat-washed through Barcardi Carta Blanca and includes a red wine reduction, resulting in a modern take on the classic daiquiri.
Upon opening in 2014, The Lobby Bar at Ace Hotel has gained a reputation for serving unique and progressive cocktails; its relaxed, open bar on the ground floor of the hotel, appeals widely to hotel guests, destination drinkers, tourists and locals alike.
The new cocktails are available in the bar between 8am-1am Sunday to Thursday and until 2am on Friday and Saturday.
