Action Against Hunger has been working in Jordan since 2013, when the crisis in Syria and the wider region had seen influxes of refugees across the borders. The challenge is therefore to meet refugees’ immediate humanitarian needs and provide them with basic livelihoods, whilst also supporting host communities who experience increased hardship as resources are stretched.
