CHEF TOM KERRIDGE ANNOUNCES OPENING DATE
Chef Tom Kerridge – the Michelin starred chef and well know publican - will open his ‘butcher-pub’ The Butcher’s Tap in Marlow on Friday 17th November 2017
The Butcher’s Tap will be a welcoming hub for the local community where people can meet for a drink, a bite to eat, and buy well-sourced quality meat to take home. Combining a butchers and public house into one, it will function as a butchers and bar during the day, then from 5pm the space will become a true traditional pub.
For the butcher, open daily until 5pm, Tom and butcher Andy Cook are working with expert, trusted meat suppliers from across the country; from Packington Free Range to Hampshire Game and Cobble Lane Cured. Alongside the butcher, there will be a no-frills but tasty hot food offering including bacon rolls and hot dogs. Simplicity is key, with food served throughout the day on disposable crockery, to eat in or takeaway.
In the evening and all day on Sunday, the butcher closes and the pub will open fully. Three televisions will show sports for guests to enjoy over a pint. The pub will also serve one daily-changing hot dish every evening. The bar, open all day, will stock a selection of real ales, lagers and spirits, with a small but revolving choice of wines.
