CHRISTMAS WITH DISHPATCH: FESTIVE MENUS, EDIBLE TREATS AND EXCLUSIVE SHOWSTOPPERS

20/10/2022

From original meal kit specialists Dishpatch comes a roster of festive products perfect for a fuss-free Christmas. Launching a brand new set of festive menus, edible gifts and table showstoppers created by some of the UK’s most lauded chefs and restaurants, this year’s collection will see a decadent 5-course meal from The Roux Family, Letterbox treats from Edd Kimber, and a Maple and rum glazed ham like no other from Andi Oliver.

For the first time on Dishpatch, Michel Roux Jr will team up with daughter Emily Roux for the Roux Family Christmas menu. With four epic courses, and either the ultimate Beef Wellington or traditional Stuffed duck crown taking centre stage, the elevated feasting menu will be a nod to the Roux family’s culinary heritage. Beginning with Chicken liver parfait, brioche and caramelised onions before moving into a fish course of Champagne and saffron soup with poached scallop. With seasonal sides such as Celeriac dauphinoise and Chantenay carrots and brussel sprouts with Beurre noisette, the main course will serve as the ultimate festive indulgence, before a Salted caramel Bûche de Noël for pudding. Delivered from 2nd December right up until 23rd, the Roux family menu is here to help take Christmas feasting to another level.

Boxing Day ham has never looked so good - from Andi Oliver comes a finish-at-home glazed ham. Heavy with influence from her family homeland of Antigua, the Rum and maple glazed ham is smothered in rich molasses, maple syrup and spiced rum, and will serve as the perfect centrepiece for large gatherings with friends and family, or for a smaller, provisions-style item for twotok. Andi’s Maple and rum glazed ham will join Michel Roux Jr’s Beef Wellington and Roast stuffed duck crown, Parsons Sea trout en croute and Gunpowder’s Festive stuffed chicken as standalone centrepiece products, for those diners who prefer to make their sides in-house.

For those with friends and family who favour an edible gift this Christmas, comes Edd Kimber’s brand new Festive Treat Box. Delivering every Friday throughout December, The Boy Who Bakes’ gifting box feature a selection of eight baked treats, featuring four of his best-loved recipes; Gooey chocolate brownies, Anzac millionaire shortbread bars, Miso and rye chocolate chip cookie bars and Brown sugar tahini scotcheroos.

And, as the pièce de résistance? St. JOHN’s mighty Christmas pudding - Fergus Henderson-approved and, in true St. JOHN style, made with suet, stout, brandy, rum and packed with fruit and nuts. Each pudding will arrive in a ceramic bowl, adorned with the infamous St. JOHN pig motif.

Alongside all of the aforementioned festive products will be showstopping festive menus from Angela Hartnett, Bubala, Hoppers, Gunpowder, Parsons and José Pizarro, whose much-loved croquetas canapé selection will return with a festive twist.

The Dishpatch Festive Collection launches on 13th November for delivery throughout December.
