Colette, the Chelsea-based fine-foods emporium, has launched a collection of hampers ready for the summer season.
Colette is an elegant and spacious outfit and a gourmet treasure trove brimming with speciality products from around the UK and France, fine wines and Champagnes. As a traiteur, Colette’s team of chefs prepare a range of seasonal changing dishes that can be cooked at home. These vary from colourful and wholesome salads to refined main dishes for dinners using the finest ingredients. Colette also excels in the very best French patisserie, with expert, handcrafted cakes including their signature Lemon and raspberry tart, and a Pain & beurre pudding.
Now, alongside finish-at-home gourmet meals, a full online shop, wine cellar and deli counter – all of which is available via click and collect or home delivery – Colette stocks a collection of hampers. Enjoy at home al-fresco by firing up the BBQ, or on London lawns such as Hyde Park or Brompton Cross. Chef Chris Hill (previously working under John Williams at The Ritz), has devised three elegant but generous hampers: the Colette Picnic Hamper for two (£55), the Colette BBQ Hamper for four (£180) and the Colette Afternoon Tea Hamper for two (£100).
