#COOKFORSYRIA IS LIVE!
#CookForSyria is a nationwide fundraising initiative curated by Instagrammer ClerkenwellBoy in collaboration with Serena Guen, Founder of SUITCASE Magazine, in aid of Unicef UK's Children of Syria Fund and NEXTGen London, Unicef UK's young professional movement.
The campaign, which launched on Monday 31st October, is split into two areas – special events and exclusive Syrian-inspired dishes on restaurant menus.
Special events have already begun taking place and will continue to run throughout November, including a breakfast event by Michael Zee of Symmetry Breakfast in collaboration with The Good Egg on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November.
Fifteen Restaurant will host a brunch with #CookForSyria contributing chefs on Saturday 26th November with a mixture of dishes from the menu as well as more classically Syrian plates – all served family sharing style.

Restaurateurs, chefs, bakers and café owners from around the UK have also included a ‘Syrian inspired twist’ to one of their dishes (or by creating a new dish) and will be donating £2 from each sale of that dish.
Participating restaurant dishes include: Beef tartare with a Syrian inspired twist by Chiltern Firehouse, Raw salmon kibbeh with yoghurt & flatbread by Grain Store and Hark Osbao (Lentils and pasta with tamarind, sumac and pomegranate) by Ottolenghi.
