BRITISH CURED MEAT FESTIVAL & AWARDS
British cured meat experts Cannon & Cannon have announced details of the very first British Cured Meat Festival and Awards on Sunday 27th May at London’s Borough Market.
The festival is the very first of its kind and will feature demos, street food, craft beer, and stalls from British meat and cheese suppliers to a backdrop of live music and DJs.
Whilst the festival is underway, a panel of esteemed judges will be deciding upon the very finest cuts of cured meat made here in the UK for a special awards ceremony. The judging panel includes chef Richard H Turner of Hawksmoor and Meatopia, Jose Pizarro, cookery writer Sabrina Ghayour, Dan Doherty of Duck and Waffle, cookery writer Xanthe Clay and Bernadette Lalonde of Harrods.
