DISHOOM KENSINGTON TO OPEN 15TH DECEMBER

Dishoom Kensington will open on Friday 15th December in a corner of the Barkers Building on Derry Street, following a two-week run of their one-off immersive theatrical production, Night at the Bombay Roxy (27th November - 14th December).
Dishoom co-founders, Shamil and Kavi Thakrar, and long-time design partners Macaulay Sinclair sourced over 100 pieces of period furniture, artwork and light fittings on a trip to Bombay – each now lovingly restored to sit within Dishoom Kensington.
The new restaurant, inspired by the Bombay Art Deco and Jazz scenes, once again pays loving homage to Bombay and its old Irani cafés. It will include a Permit Room cocktail bar, a 200 cover all day dining hall, an open kitchen and a mezzanine gallery stage, where live music will often be performed for the entertainment of dining guests.
