HECKFIELD PLACE TERRACE LAUNCH WITH SKYE GYNGELL

On Wednesday 14th April, Skye Gyngell and the team at Heckfield Place will launch Marle on the Italian Terrace restaurant, with stunning views over the sweeping grounds, woodlands and upper lake. The spring time restaurant will run until 9th May and will be open for lunch and afternoon tea, Wednesday to Sunday and for a 5-course dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. The terrace will be suitable for all weathers with a canopy, blankets, fire pits and sheepskins.  


Set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, just an hour from London, Heckfield Place is the perfect setting for a quintessentially English outdoor dining experience. Skye will be creating a menu of pared back, elegant dishes with biodynamic produce, freshly picked from the gardens and farm, where possible.


Example dishes might include Wild turbot, asparagus and hollandaise; Grilled sirloin with crushed broad beans, pencil leeks, horseradish and jus; Rhubarb tart with peach blossom ice cream; or a sharing style Sunday lunch with Roast corn-fed chicken with lemon thyme butter, braised lettuce and gravy and a selection of sides. A daily changing cake selection, scones and freshly made sandwiches will be served as part of Afternoon Tea.
