HOVARDA
TO OPEN IN SOHO THIS NOVEMBER

The Good Food Society, the team behind Yosma and Frescobaldi restaurants, will be opening 
Hovarda - a new Aegean bar and restaurant - on Rupert Street in Soho, this November.

The menu will be inspired by the Aegean Sea, with freshly-caught fish served each day alongside a more extensive menu based on the flavours of the region. The upstairs bar will feature a long list of cocktails, spirits and wine and will host live DJs in the evenings.

The term ‘hovarda’, which is used in both Turkish and Greek, playfully references a generous host with a free spirit. Hovarda will embrace this with a luxe first floor cocktail bar and ground floor restaurant, with interiors designed by Lázaro Rosa‐Violan. The space will feature a large open kitchen and counter dining overlooking the open fire grills.
