We are so pleased to announce that Imad’s Syrian Kitchen will launch on the 18th December, in Carnaby’s Kingly Court (on the old site of the Darjeeling Express).
The restaurant will open with an initial soft launch on Wednesday 16th for dinner and Thursday 17th December offering a 30% discount on food. To book, visit www.imadssyriankitchen.co.uk
Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees – up to 400 at a time – and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.
Imad will serve a selection of Syrian mezze, including his famous falafel, as well as dishes such Fattet Macdous: Crispy baby aubergine stuffed with lamb topped with crunchy flatbread and garlicky cumin; Hamlet lahem: Slow cooked marinated lamb shoulder; and Jaj Mtafaieh: Chicken thighs roasted with vegetables.
