JIKONI X AMOS TRUST DINNER, 10TH NOVEMBER

On Sunday 10th November to celebrate Jikoni's 3rd birthday, Chef Patron Ravinder Bhogal will be joined by Palestinian chef Sami Tamimi and food writer and chef Lisa Markwell to cook a Palestinian-inspired feast to raise funds for Amos Trust and their work in Palestine.
The feast will be inspired by the chefs' fond memories of Palestine and its rich culture and food. It will include a banquet of dishes served communally to showcase the famous generous hospitality of Palestine.
To start will be a mezze of dishes such as Muhammara with handmade flatbreads and Za’atar and Salmon Kibbeh with Smoked Labneh. This will be followed by a selection of main courses, including Sami Tamimi's favourite, Mussakan, a Palestinian-style roast chicken. For dessert, there will be Pistachio and Rose Cake and Tahini Ice-cream, as well as dates from Zaytoun stuffed with cheese and almonds and drizzled with honey.
Central to Jikoni’s ethos of pluralism, equal rights and commitment to diplomacy through food, the celebration will be in support of Amos Trust, a charity that works with local and international peace activists, and partners with grass-roots projects to call for a just peace, reconciliation and full equal rights for all Palestinians and Israelis.
The dinner will take place on the 10th November at 6:30pm. Tickets which will include a welcome drink and a lavish feastwill be £55pp and are available to purchase here.
