JIKONI LAUNCHES FEASTING MENU

Award-winning chef and restaurateur Ravinder Bhogal (@cookinboots) has launched Jikoni's Feasting Menu at her much-loved Marylebone restaurant.


Inspired by her mixed heritage and personal Christmas traditions, Ravinder’s menu will feature an array of creative and indulgent seasonal dishes, served family style. Highlights will include Cacio e pepe sausage rolls and Pondicherry prawn ‘vol au vent' on arrival, to be enjoyed with Jikoni’s festive Pomegranate & bay negroni. Small plates of Gin cured salmon with tahini, Charred brussel sprouts, chestnuts, hot & sour dressing and Wild mushroom toast served with a curry hollandaise and black truffle, will follow.

Mains will be decedent and comforting, with guests able to choose from Porth Colmon native lobster moilee with lemon rice and coconut chutney, or Mutton scrag end pie with turmeric butter infused mash. For dessert, options will include Ravinder’s famous Banana cake with miso butterscotch or a one-of Edible Christmas wreath for two with salted caramel crème patisserie.


The menu represents Ravinder’s cross-cultural “cooking without borders” and her joyful approach to blending flavours from across the globe. It will be available in the main dining room or at the kitchen table, an intimate 12 seated dining space located downstairs in front of the open kitchen.
