MARCUS SAMUELSSON ON BBC RADIO 4 THE FOOD PROGRAMME
The much-loved Food Programme, a stalwart of BBC Radio 4, recently devoted an episode to Red Rooster chef Marcus Samuelssson. Marcus was born in Ethiopia, adopted in Sweden and made his reputation in New York, before opening a restaurant at the London hotel The Curtain.
The 46 year old chef is now a TV personality and has cooked for Presidents. He discusses his journey from being born in a tiny east African village to opening a successful restaurant in Hackney, via Sweden and New York City.
