MURANO CELEBRATES 10TH BIRTHDAY WITH LIMITED EDITION MENU

Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred Mayfair restaurant, Murano, will celebrate its 10th birthday this autumn.

The well-loved restaurant, which first opened in 2008, will be hosting a series of events this year in honour of its birthday and the team are excited to welcome old friends and new faces to the restaurant. The line-up will include very special one-off guest chef dinners, a limited edition celebratory birthday menu spanning and a brand new series of Sunday lunches.

Guest Chef Series

Angela will be hosting a series of dinners alongside some of her good friends. Each evening will offer a one-off menu created by Angela and her guest chefs. On Tuesday 11th September 2018, renowned chefs Mark Hix and Mitch Tonks will be joining Angela in the kitchen. More details on other guest chef dinners will be announced in due course – they will feature Lee Tiernan of Black Axe Mangal, Jason Atherton of Pollen Street Social, Marcus Wareing of Marcus and Jeremy Lee of Quo Vadis.

Murano’s birthday menu

Angela will be putting together a unique five-course tasting menu, at £80 a head, made up entirely of Murano’s signature dishes over the last decade. This will feature some of the restaurant’s most famous dishes, including Oven Roasted San Marzano Tomatoes, Burrata, Manni olive oil; Monkfish Braised in Squid Ink Fregola, Ox-Tail Tortellini, Hispi Cabbage and Whole Roasted Peach, Vanilla Parfait.

Sunday lunch at Murano

Murano will be opening its doors for special Sunday lunch feast one Sunday a month. The £40 a head menu will include a Summer spritz on arrival; House Cured Mangalitza; Tortellini, Ricotta, Courgette, Tomato Ragout; Roasted Porchetta; Pickled & Roasted Summer Vegetables and Peaches & Gelato.
