OTTOLENGHI TO OPEN A CHELSEA DELI
We’re very pleased to announce the launch of Ottolenghi’s latest London outpost. Yotam and the team will open a brand new neighbourhood deli on London’s longest mews, Pavilion Road, Chelsea on 13th January 2022.
It will be one of the largest yet, with a local design twist and newly developed dishes and bakes for Chelsea locals that have never been seen before. The site will be open for morning coffees, pastries and breakfast at 8am through to lunch at 7pm every day apart from Sunday (9am-5pm).
The kitchen will serve a concise menu of signature Ottolenghi hot dishes every morning, such as Scrambled eggs with London cured salmon, focaccia, mixed leaves and crème fraiche and French toast with mixed berry jam and orange yoghurt.
No Ottolenghi deli would be complete without the abundant salad counter and stacks of cakes and pastries that tower in the window. From 11am, daily changing salads like Advieh spiced vermicelli rice with pickled mango, herbs and rice salad and Roasted sweet potato with lime and cardamom sauce, along with mains of Grilled Loch-Duart salmon with tartare sauce.
Textures and materials have been painstakingly thought through: a bold terrazzo floor, created by artist Ivo Bisagno (a long-time collaborator of the Ottolenghi family), adds splashes of colour throughout the room.
