PALM COURT, SUMMER ROSE GARDEN AFTERNOON TEA
Palm Court at Kimpton Fitzroy London, overlooking Bloomsbury’s Russell Square, is launching a limited-edition ‘Summer Rose Garden’ afternoon tea in partnership with celebrated Champagne house Laurent-Perrier, available from 7th June until 31st August.
Head Pastry Chef Thibault Marchand, from this season’s Channel Four’s ‘Bake Off: The Professionals’, has been inspired by his love of summer and rose gardens to create the afternoon tea. The tea will include beautiful pastries designed to represent different flowers and match the delicate flavours of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. The full pastry menu is as follows:
Cherry, Chocolate and Hazelnut Petit Gateau
Strawberry and Pistachio Tart
Raspberry, Rose and Lychee Choux
Peach and Verbena Petit Gateau
Palm Court will be transformed into a summer garden in full bloom, with twisting trails of pink and white roses. For the first time, the hotel’s summer terrace will be open - the perfect spot to enjoy the tea al fresco.
