PIZZA PILGRIMS ANNOUNCES NEW CITY AND LONDON BRIDGE OPENINGS FOR AUTUMN 2018

03/09/2018

Pizza Pilgrims will open two new pizzerias in London this autumn. The first site in the City, next to Tower 42, will open on 1st October, followed by another site in London Bridge, due to open early November.

The Pizza Pilgrims City building (which happens to be shaped liked a pizza slice) will seat 135 guests and have a large downstairs bar for drinkers – complete with a big screen TV to show football matches.

To coincide with the opening of Pizza Pilgrims City, Pizza Pilgrims will launch a brand new menu, including items such as their reinvented garlic bread – the Bread Zeppelin – which inflates in the pizza oven and oozes with garlic butter and the Double Pepperoni pizza, with two different types of Pepperoni (produced in the UK) and drizzled with a spiced honey. Pizza Pilgrims will also be using their new double fermented pizza dough, proved twice for 48hrs minimum, giving the dough an amazing depth of flavour and an airy, light texture. The new menu will be exclusive to the City site initially, then rolled out across all the other pizzerias by the end of the year.

For the first time at a Pizza Pilgrims location, click and collect will be available to service the busy City community. Deliveroo will also be available at Pizza Pilgrims City a month after opening. The bar will host a daily ‘Apé Hour’ (the Pizza Pilgrims answer to Happy Hour) with deals on beers, spritzes and litres of prosecco, all served with complimentary Italian-style aperitivo snacks, such as Deep Fried Artichokes and Arancini.
