Pump Street has been named Observer Food Monthly’s Best Producer 2022.

Pump Street is pioneering a new way for a sustainable future in craft chocolate. Based out of Orford in Suffolk, South-East England, the family business consists of an award-winning bakery and craft chocolate company. After mastering the art of naturally leavening bread, Pump Street turned their hand to chocolate. Importing the beans directly from single estates and co-operatives around the world. Provenance and process are integral to the business’ ethos, sourcing cacao from the finest growers who ferment and dry the beans at origin. Each bean is hand sorted, roasted, winnowed, ground and conched to produce the best tasting chocolate possible. This process yields chocolate that truly speaks of its terroir and vintage, with the finest of flavours.
