SEPTEMBER RE-OPENINGS

07/09/2020

It really does feel like the beginning of a new term and a new year. Perhaps this September more than ever, with restaurants reopening their doors, kids heading back to classrooms and hopefully, workers once again walking through their office doors, we can start to feel a bit more positive as we head towards Christmas.

After weeks and months of careful planning, a number of our clients are re-opening, eager to welcome back old and new faces into their restaurants, hotels and bars.

SABOR

Sabor got things started last week. It packed up the outside tables, saying goodbye to its little sister, Sabor al Fresco and moved back inside to its beloved Counter restaurant. Upstairs El Asador has had a bit of a makeover. And most importantly, Nieves is back in the open kitchen, serving up the dishes which she’s known for and some new ones, our new favourite of which is the Ox Tail Sandwich with Mustard Aioli.

SPRING

Skye Gyngell re-opens the doors to Spring on Thursday 10th September. Skye and her team will be serving their distinctively elegant, seasonally driven dishes to guests once more., initially the restaurant will be open for evenings only. By popular demand, their celebrated Scratch Menu, which uses waste produce that is often overlooked, will also be available from 5pm until 6pm.

OTTOLENGHI

Slowly but surely, the remainder of Ottolenghi’s clan of restaurants are returning and rest assured, Shakshuka will be served. Ottolenghi Spitalfields will open on 10th September, closely followed by NOPIon 11th September. Last, but not least, Ottolenghi Belgravia will re-open on 14th September with its bountiful displays of cakes, salads and more. And, already open, Ottolenghi Islington is going to be serving dinner from 9th September too.

GCG

The grills are fired up at Goodman City and Canary Wharf ready for openings on the 8th and 29th September. These classic steakhouses have been serving quality steak and wine for over a decade and can’t wait to be back doing what they do best. The more casual of the Global Craftsman Group’s offering, Zelman Meats will open the doors to their Soho restaurant and bar on Wednesday 23rd September. Call in for their incredible Zelman Plate, black truffle and parmesan chips, and a classic chopped salad.

THE ZETTER TOWNHOUSES

And last but definitely not least, the beautiful doors to The Zetter Townhouse are now open in both Clerkenwell and Marylebone. Stop by for a cocktail or two or check in upstairs for a well-deserved staycation.
