SESSIONS ARTS CLUB TO OPEN IN 2020

We are pleased to announce that Sessions Arts Club, a new creative studio from painter Jonny Gent and business partners, restaurateur Jon Spiteri (one of the founders of St John) and architect Russell Potter (SODA), will open in Mar ch 2020 in London. The project is in collaboration with brothers, Ted and Oliver Grebelius (Sätila Studios), who share a passion for creating beautiful buildings and environments that inspire ideas and expression.

Housed in a restored 18th Century, Grade II* former courthouse on Clerkenwell Green, Sessions Arts Club will bring together art and people, food and wine. The team will be collaborating with a number of creative minds, and the 60-cover restaurant will be headed up by chef Alex Vines (previously 40 Maltby Street, Rochelle Canteen and Sardine). Alex strongly believes in the connection between the kitchen and its suppliers, this is central to Alex’s cooking, and menus will be devised around the seasonal bounty of numerous farmers and growers. This naturally lends itself to British flavours in the winter, whilst inspiring more Mediterranean influences over the summer months.
