SIMPSON'S IN THE STRAND
WITH NEW HEAD CHEF
Historic restaurant Simpson’s in the Strand is to officially open its doors again this summer and welcome a new Head Chef.
Chef William Hemming will head up the kitchen, where a reimagined menu will focus on both traditional and contemporary dishes, and ingredients will be sourced from across the British Isles. As well as this, the restaurant’s renowned carving trolleys from 1848 will still serve its signature aged roast rib of beef tableside, as it has always been.
New to Simpson’s in the Strand will be a selection of luxury signature products in the newly restored tiled entranceway and available for guests to buy. Within the Grand Divan dining room, wine displays will feature a new and impressive beverage programme on offer to diners, and an extensive selection of British cheeses will also be on display.
