SORREL, MODERN FINE DINING IN THE SURREY HILLS FROM STEVE DRAKE

We are delighted to be working with SORREL, the modern fine dining restaurant from chef Steve Drake and his team, situated in the Surrey Hills.

The 40-cover restaurant, set in a striking 300-year old building, draws inspiration from local ingredients to offer guests a unique dining experience in a relaxed setting. The team takes classic dishes and seasonal ingredients to create inventive flavour combinations, and visually appealing plates.

Since opening its doors in October 2017, chef Steve Drake and his team at SORREL have been laying the foundations of their new restaurant, situated in a striking 300-year old building in Dorking, in the Surrey Hills.

Steve Drake, who previously owned the Michelin-starred ‘Drake’s’ in Surrey, has also worked with chefs such as Marc Veyrat, Nico Ladenis and the Roux brothers. After closing Drake's, he opened SORREL last year, and, over the past 11 months has been working to bring on board a team of talented chefs, keen to learn and create with him.
