THE BUXTON, PUB, HOTEL AND ROOFTOP, OPENS IN SHOREDITCH
The Buxton is now open to the public after being lovingly and painstakingly restored. Housed in a Victorian building at the southern end of vibrant Brick Lane, the 15 bedroom hotel and ground floor pub is a new hub for locals and visitors to the capital.
The five-story pub with rooms, from the team behind The Culpeper, balances modernity with the beauty of old world design; focussing on inventive ways to make the best use of space for travellers whilst retaining an element of understated luxury.
Each of the 15 bedrooms are simple and paired back, featuring bespoke, multifunctional furniture, removing any unnecessary elements to suit the modern traveller.
Each bedroom is moderately priced at a flat rate of £100 which includes a welcome drink and breakfast. For more information, please click here.
Located on the ground floor, the pub is the heart of the building, an informal dining and drinking area. A standalone open kitchen and bar is the focal point for the large open space, serving a brief, simple and seasonal à la carte menu of regional European and British dishes throughout the day.
