THIBAULT MARCHAND WINS BAKE OFF: THE PROFESSIONALS 2019
We’re delighted to announce that Kimpton Fitzroy London’s Head Pastry Chef, Thibault Marchand and his partner Erica have won this year’s Bake Off: The Professionals 2019.
Thibault commented: “Winning Bake Off: The Professionals is such a huge personal achievement and I can’t quite believe it. It was such an honour to be selected to take part and we enjoyed every minute of it. The standard was so incredibly high this year and I’m happy to say that we have all become good friends following the competition.”
Thibault has worked as a pastry chef around the world for the past six years. From chocolaterie Hugo & Victor in Paris, to Miami, to London where he spent time at world renowned bakery Dominique Ansel before advancing to Head Pastry Chef at Kimpton Fitzroy London, the hotel overlooking Russell Square in Bloomsbury.
