TOM KERRIDGE'S NEW TV SHOW
Chef Tom Kerridge will be back on BBC Two at 8pm this evening with a new series, Lose Weight and Get Fit with Tom Kerridge, packed with healthy recipes and fitness advice.
The six-part series will follow Tom and his gang of 11 volunteers as they aim to shed the pounds, get fit and transform their cooking and exercise habits for good. Tom has created a new selection of easy-to-cook recipes that that are filling, flavour-packed and nutritious while still lower in calories. On the fitness front, the gang will get the help they need to improve their cardiovascular and muscle fitness. It’s not all about getting ripped in the gym but there’s an exercise plan to suit everyone – and Tom will be joining in too.
‘I lost a load of weight a few years ago but lately I’ve seen it creeping back up. And I’m not as fit as I want to be at my age. So I’ve set myself and a gang of volunteers a challenge for the TV series – to lose weight and get fit together,’ he explains.
This series ties into his new cookbook of the same name, Lose Weight and Get Fit, published by Absolute Press, an imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing. This book follows the success of his bestselling Lose Weight for Good and Tom Kerridge’s Fresh Start, and offers more full-flavour, lower-calorie recipes.
