ZAITOUN - RECIPES AND STORIES FROM THE PALESTINIAN KITCHEN BY YASMIN KHAN

Writer, human rights activist and cook Yasmin Khan celebrates Palestinian cuisine in her beautiful second book, Zaitoun, launching 12th July 2018. 

 

Yasmin falls in love with the flavours and fragrances of modern Palestinian cuisine, collecting recipes and stories exploring the olive groves of Nazareth, the spice markets of Jerusalem and the fishing ports of Gaza. 

 

Featuring over 80 accessible recipes, with a special focus on vegetarian versions of Palestinian classics, Khan’s recipes include herb-filled salads, quick pickles, fragrant soups, tender roasted meat dishes and rich desserts, surrounded by a chorus of stories from those who live, love and cook with Palestine in their hearts.

 

Zaitoun, published in hardback by Bloomsbury, is available to pre-order on Amazon, priced at £26.
