INTRODUCING THE NEW ZELMAN MEATS
We are delighted to introduce the new Zelman Meats; specialist steakhouse in Soho and Knightsbridge, committed to making steak dining more accessible, experimental and fun, without compromising on quality. From the team behind Goodman Restaurants, Zelman Meats will introduce a brand new drinks menu and some stellar updates to their food offering, refocusing their menu for steak lovers that are curious about meat and enjoy sharing style dining.
At the center of the new menu is a signature “Zelman Plate” designed by Executive Chef Olly Bird to showcase the different cuts, textures and flavours of beef from around the world, including Angus cattle fed on Irish grass and Spring Creeks grain-finished beef from Alberta. This style of menu allows guests an opportunity to taste, talk and share the steak experience, feeding into a wider industry appetite for deeper knowledge and understanding about meat.
Alongside the new food menu, the bar team have been working on a new list of Zelman Drinks; twelve inventive cocktails with five signatures have been created to complement the food offering, with a nod to Olly’s methods in the kitchen. Drinks include the Old Fashioned “To The Bone” – an inspired take on the classic using a Malbec reduction, celery bitters and beef fat-washed bourbon, complete with a morsel of steak tartare resting on top.
The 120 cover restaurant will feature a new chefs’ table booth for larger groups, where Olly can take guests around the kitchen to make the process of choosing a steak more interactive, enabling them to see their steak before it’s cooked and gain greater understanding of the meat they are eating.
