DISHPATCH LAUNCHES SUMMER MENUS WITH IXTA BELFRAGE, SP00NS AND ST. JOHN

30/06/2022

Dishpatch has announced their summer line-up. With a brand new BBQ menu from London stalwarts St. JOHN, dishes from Ixta Belfrage based on her new book MEZCLA, and the final Spotlight menu from supper club sensation, Sp00ns.

With recipes inspired by her much-anticipated new book, Ixta Belfrage’s Summertime Mezcla will feature a characteristically zesty spread of flavours drawing from her upbringing and heritage. Flavours from Brazil, Italy and Mexico marry and clash in a feast that only has one requirement; to be eaten in the sunshine. Centred around a main of Spatchcock chicken with pineapple salsa, the menu kicks off with Charred red pepper tartare, washed down with Ixta’s own take on Strawberry and hibiscus agua fresca. . Delivery begins on Friday 8th July, with the full menu HERE.

Missed the tickets to her sell-out supper clubs? Rahel Stephanie’s Sp00ns menu includes her pick of her favourite Indonesian plant-based dishes, from Tempe balado, a fried tempe in a caramelised tomato sambal to Bolu Kojo, baked coconut pandas cake on a warm pool of palm sugar custard. Each dish is a classic, found often within the Warungs (street side eateries) of Indonesia, vibrantly spiced and reclaiming misrepresented dishes that aren’t found too often in the UK. You can find the full menu HERE.

And, rounding off the summertime series is a brand-new menu from one of London’s best-loved eateries, St. JOHN. With a mix of exclusive-to-Dishpatch and classic St. JOHN dishes, the menu from Fergus Henderson is emblematic of St. JOHN's holistic approach to cooking and eating during the summer months - and, it’s one that can be finished on the BBQ. A generous, sharing feast of Marinated pork chop will accompany Italian-style Cotechino sourced from London butchers HG Walter. Sides of the classic and ‘life-saving’ Tomato, little gem and anchovy salad, along with Lentils and green sauce. A truly British pud of Eton mess will round things off, with the revered St. JOHN own-label Beausoleil available to add on to sip on sunnier days. Launching Sunday 3rd, the first delivery will be 15th July.
