DISHPATCH'S SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR MOTHER'S DAY

08/03/2022

What better way to pamper mum than a doorstop delivery from breakfast legends, The Good Egg, or an Aussie feast with a twist from Wander? This Mother’s Day, original at-home meal kit specialists Dishpatch, have collaborated with some of the country’s most-loved restaurants, for a series of menus that require very little effort to ensure success – so Mum can well and truly put her feet up, even if you can’t be with her.

For breakfast-in-bed, The Good Egg’s limited-edition menu (£50) of the iconic Shakshuka features slowly roasted tomatoes and red peppers, cooked for 12 hours to deepen the flavour. Optional extras will include Blood orange mimosa to toast the morning and the extra indulgent Chocolate babka, with the menu delivered for two weekends on 18th and 25th March.

Or, if a sit-down lunch is more her thing, find a brand new, exclusive menu from Alexis Noble’s Wander at Home. Starting with Vegemite garlic bread and Burrata with cherry tomatoes and wild garlic, before moving on to Roast chicken, fermented peppers and potatoes, Wander’s menu celebrates Alexis’ iconic dishes created in homage to her motherland, Australia. Finished up with Pavlova, rhubarb, strawberry and Ivy House cream, Wander at Home’s menu includes a copy of Alexis’ cookbook, so that mum can recreate all the dishes again and again at home.

Other Mother’s Day menus will come courtesy of Parsons Seafood Feast, The Coach by Tom Kerridge with Ale-braised beef short rib, José Pizarro’s Seafood rice and a new menu of Japanese classics by Machiya. Rounding off the series is an extra special mezze menu from Ottolenghi.
