GOSPEL BRUNCH COMES TO RED ROOSTER SHOREDITCH
11/08/2017
HARLEM'S ICONIC GOSPEL BRUNCH HAS ARRIVED AT RED ROOSTER SHOREDITCH WITH EAST LONDON'S HOUSE GOSPEL CHIOR
Starting this week, every Sunday, Red Rooster Shoreditch is serving brunch alongside a side order of contemporary gospel choir music. It'll be performed live by East London’s House Gospel Choir, who have performed with the likes of Annie Mac, Naughty Boy and Labrinth to name a few.
Guests are encouraged to get involved, dance, sing, call and respond as the House Gospel Choir weave in between tables during their performance, belting out expressive renditions of gospel songs interspersed with the occasional contemporary track for good measure.
The menu features popular classics from the restaurant’s regular menu and Red Rooster signatures such as Sammy’s Chicken ’n Waffles, in addition to a host of special brunch dishes, including Chicken n’ Biscuit, Uptown Steak & Eggs and the Crispy Bird Sandwich. There is also a unique, Red Rooster-style take on classic brunch drinks such as the Rooster Bloody Mary (Grey Goose & berbere spiced tomato juice) and the El Mirlo (Tapatio Blanco, lime, ginger, lingonberry cassis).
