STATEMENT REGARDING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH URBAN INNS LTD

On Friday 25th January we became aware of The Sunday Times story regarding allegations that Dan Doherty sexually harassed members of staff at The Royal Oak. On discovering this we immediately terminated the contract with Urban Inns Ltd.

It transpires that Urban Inns Ltd kept us in the dark about these allegations, Dan’s suspension and return to work. We are obviously appalled by what we have heard both of Dan’s conduct and the way in which it has been handled.
