As the younger, more casual sibling to Michelin-starred Restaurant 22, Margaret’s brings a relaxed take on modern British cooking to the heart of Cambridge.
Founders Alex Olivier and Sam Carter approached GB&C to create the branding for Margaret’s, to reflect the spirit of the new restaurant while nodding gently to its roots. Named in tribute to a close friend and regular guest, Margaret’s identity needed to feel personal, approachable, and distinct.
From defining a warm, seasonal colour palette to shaping the tone of voice and messaging, we developed a full visual and verbal identity that carries through the interiors, printed materials and social channels — giving Margaret’s a quietly confident presence of its own.
