Award-winning B Corp-certified speciality coffee roasters, Origin Coffee, has collaborated with South London small batch ice cream maker Marcelo’s to create a Cold Brew Sorbet.

Launching in London coffee shops on Monday 1st July, the Sorbet has been made with speciality beans from Konga Washing Station. The brew is smooth and balanced with notes of nectarine and mango and has been churned together with brown sugar for a sweet finish.

On the collaboration, Founder Tom Sobey said ‘The collaboration with Marcelo’s feels like the perfect way to kick off our birthday celebrations, and just in time with the sun coming out. Working with another business who also values quality at the heart of what they do has been really exciting. I hope everyone enjoys the sorbet as much as we have enjoyed creating it.’

Across the year, Origin Coffee will be hosting several partnerships to celebrate such a momentous occasion as one of the longest-standing specialty coffee roasters in the UK. Starting with Marcelo’s, Origin has also collaborated with Tokyo Bike to create a bespoke bicycle that will be visiting its coffee shops across the UK throughout the summer months sharing giveaways and surprise product drops. The Sorbet will be available for a limited time over the summer at Origin Coffee’s shops on Scoresby Street, Charlotte Road, and in the British Library for £3.50 a serving.
