BROOKLANDS BY CLAUDE BOSI OPENS TERRACE WITH UNMATCHED VIEW ACROSS THE LONDON SKYLINE

24/04/2024

One of London’s most revered rooftop restaurants Brooklands by Claude Bosi has opened its 26-cover terrace. The two Michelin-starred restaurant sits atop The Peninsula London and frames uninterrupted views of the iconic London skyline, offering diners a truly unforgettable experience. The terrace is the perfect destination to enjoy balmy summer nights, savouring the final minutes of sun as it sets in technicolour over Hyde Park, Knightsbridge and Belgravia.

The menu is the product of Chef Director Claude Bosi and Chef de Cuisine Francesco Dibenedetto and promises culinary excellence throughout. Diners can choose from the à la carte, or the tasting menu - both showcasing the finest of British produce and taking guests on a gastronomic journey across the British Isles. The terrace can be reserved for lunch (between 12pm and 1:30pm) and dinner (between 6pm and 9:45pm), with those dining at lunchtime able to order the newly introduced Concorde menu. A three-course menu designed to be served in its entirety within 60 minutes, allowing guests to enjoy the pinnacle of luxury at Concorde speed.

Commencing with an array of their famed Petit fours, guests can expect to savour starters such as Cornish squid and artichoke or Exmoor caviar, roscoff onion, and duck jelly before moving onto mains, showcasing remarkable local produce such as grilled Turbot with wild sea leeks, Lancashire Blackmount cheese, blanquette de veau sauce and nutty Argan oil; and Lake District lamb, mint and pastrami. The Best of British apples and wild meadowsweet takes place as the sweet finale, whilst the refreshing and zingy Alphonso mango, marigold and Kaffir lime dessert showcases the mastery of Claude Bosi.

The Brooklands terrace is adorned by a sculpture named Harmonie from British sculptor Richard Hudson. The mirrored steel provides a continuation of the sleek interiors of the restaurant, forming a sense of calm as it represents tranquillity and balance in nature. Its curved surfaces reflect the beauty of its surroundings, as the day moves into night and the sun makes way for the glittering lights of the city skyline on the horizon.

The sleek serenity of the terrace provides the ideal setting to enjoy Brooklands Bar’s precisely engineered cocktails. Adorning an idyllic Summer evening with drinks such as the Calabria, an elevated take on the classic Margarita that uses notes of Calabrian chilli, orange and cinnamon, or the Disco which fuses the integral balance of the Negroni with the tropical nuances of passion fruit. Claude Bosi has also overseen the design of the concisely curated list of bar snacks, where guests can enjoy bites such as Leek tart and black truffle or Sardines on toast with romesco.

Although the terrace is heated and covered, all tables reserved will also have a table available inside, to ensure the unpredictability of British weather remains accounted for.
