Dishpatch Valentines Day 2024

VALENTINE’S DAY WITH DISHPATCH

18/01/2024

This Valentine’s Day, Dishpatch, the original restaurant-quality, finish-at-home meal platform, has teamed up with some of the UK’s best restaurants and chefs to create a series of incredible fuss-free menus designed for sharing. Whether you’re celebrating with loved ones, friends or family, avoid the queues and an evening of decadent dining at home. This year’s collection features a romantic dinner for two by Michel Roux Jr., a classic three-course spread by St. JOHN, and a vegetarian Moroccan feast by Sabrina Ghayour.

Michelin-starred master of French cuisine Michel Roux Jr. returns with a romantic dinner à deux, starting with a golden Champagne and saffron soup with poached scallop. For mains, enjoy a show-stopping Beef Wellington with a red wine jus to be sliced tableside and served with Celeriac and potato dauphinoise, before indulging in Profiteroles with whipped cream and chocolate sauce for dessert.

Sabrina Ghayour’s
vegetarian Moroccan bastilla is the perfect centrepiece for sharing, served with gently spiced sweet potatoes, fennel salad, and rice bejewelled with barberries, pistachios, and orange peel. To finish, Chocolate tahini brownies are paired with vanilla custard for the ideal sweet treat to share.

For those looking to spoil someone special, nose-to-tail dining pioneer St. JOHN is offering an impressive dinner for two, beginning with light and silky Whipped cod’s roe on toast, followed by Confit goose legs, cooked slowly until meltingly tender and then finished in the oven until perfectly crisp, accompanied by Goose fat roast potatoes and Red chicory. For dessert, indulge in the deep comfort of currant-studded Spotted dick served with a delectable pouring cream.

Seafood lovers will delight at Rick Stein’s Luxurious Lobster Thermidor, while Angela Hartnett brings a taste of luxury with Cafe Murano’s Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Other menus available to enjoy this Valentine’s Day include a slow-cooked Castilian suckling lamb by José Pizarro and a celebratory Taco Party menu by masters of Mexican cuisine El Pastor, featuring a centrepiece of Braised short rib accompanied by house-made heritage blue corn tortillas.

The Wine Shop will also be available for diners to add bottles to their order, with a curated selection of wines from St. JOHN, Café Murano, and José Pizarro for the ultimate at-home dining experience.

Dishpatch’s Valentine’s Day menus are available to order online at dishpatch.co.uk for nationwide delivery on 9th - 10th, 14th, and 16th - 17th February.
